Bespoke treatment plan recommendations based on your unique dental health needs
Tooth loss can make you feel self-conscious about showing your smile. Besides affecting your appearance, missing teeth can also negatively impact your health — gaps can increase your risk of oral disease and may make it difficult to chew nutritious foods.
Dental bridges
A bridge is a cost-effective way to fill the gap in your smile.
Bridges can be made from metal covered with porcelain, pure porcelain, or gold. We'll discuss your aesthetic preferences and recommend the right option for your smile.
Dentures
If you have no natural teeth left or if you need to have your remaining teeth extracted, then a full denture may be right for you.
A partial denture replaces several missing teeth and clips or fits around your remaining natural teeth. A full denture replaces all teeth in either your upper or lower jaw.
Modern dentures are comfortable, natural-looking and far more secure than older designs — especially when supported by dental implants.
Dental implants for bridges and dentures
Implants can provide a strong, stable foundation for bridges and dentures.
Implant-supported bridges.
An implant-supported bridge uses two or more dental implants to hold a custom bridge in place — replacing several missing teeth without needing to grind down healthy neighbouring teeth.
Implant-supported dentures.
An implant-supported denture (sometimes called an "overdenture") clips securely onto a few dental implants. This gives you a much more stable, comfortable fit than a traditional denture that sits on your gums.
Single-tooth implants.
For a single missing tooth, an individual implant + crown looks and feels just like a natural tooth — without the need to alter the teeth either side.

Frequently asked questions about bridges and dentures
How long do bridges and dentures last?
A well-fitted bridge typically lasts 10–15 years with good care. Modern dentures usually need relining or replacing every 5–10 years as the shape of your gums changes naturally over time.
Will a bridge or denture look natural?

How long do bridges and dentures last?
Yes. Modern bridges and dentures are designed to match the colour, shape and translucency of natural teeth. We'll carefully select shades that complement your existing teeth and skin tone for the most natural-looking result.
Can I eat normally with dentures?
It takes a little practice to get used to eating with new dentures, but most patients adapt within a few weeks. Start with softer foods cut into small pieces, then gradually expand your diet. Implant-supported dentures give you much more chewing power than traditional ones.
How do I clean my denture?
Rinse your denture after meals to remove food, brush it daily with a soft brush and denture cleaner (not toothpaste — it can be too abrasive), and soak it overnight in denture solution. Always handle it over a folded towel or sink of water to avoid breakage if you drop it.
